Smoking and staying in touch are both harmful to health. This can prove to be the most harmful to the woman who breastfed her children. Breastfeeding mother should not come in contact with smoking, may have a negative effect on the duration of breastfeeding compared to those who are not exposed to smoking.
This is what came out in a research. The findings of research have been done in the publication magazine ‘Breastfeeding Medicine’. It is revealed that there is a negative impact on breastfeeding mothers when they come in contact with domestic smokers.
Professor Mary Tantant of the University of Okanangan Campus Camp in Canada said, “Our research shows that due to being in a smoker family, there was a decrease in the timing of the child’s breast feeding. Can be a member of extended family. ”
Tarat said, “In the family, the number of people who had a high number of smokers was very short of breastfeeding.”
For this research, the researchers team studied about 1200 women from four major Hong Kong hospitals.
